I never thought I had the confidence to attract men, but all it took was this book which helped me to realize that I have certain qualities that attract men!
I had trouble meeting men. I mean, I wanted to meet men, but it was hard approaching them, and I didn’t get approached by men much. Now when I walk into a bar, men notice me and I have a great time! I find it easier to approach men and talk to them.
I have a new found confidence that men find very attractive! I found a part of me I never knew I had! I have applied all of the tips and they have worked great. I would definitely recommend this to all single women out there. It has really worked wonders for me. This resource has increased my confidence and self esteem and I feel better than ever. This book has helped me to become a self-confident woman who knows how to take care of herself and attracts many good looking men. Mandy Simons is a knowledgable yet understanding author…it’s like talking to your ideal best friend! The book relates to so many areas of my life. Are you kidding me? These authors must of had all their friends write the reviews. Honestly, Amazon I feel I am entitled to a full refund of the money I paid for this trash and my time! Their tips are “wear make up” and “wash your hair” and “never go out of the house looking ugly”. There were so many spelling and grammar mistakes, I just don’t understand how this was ever published. Ladies….please do not waste your money as I did. There is NO useful information in this book.
This book isn’t even written in normal, gramatically correct English. Instead of “rich” she says “reach”, instead of “hair” she writes “her”, there are different fonts where it is obvious that edits were made. “…dress always nice and …” I could go on and on in the few pages that I actually read of this book. [...] She tells you to buy fake purses on the internet, take a taxi to a party so noone will see you arrive and then walk to the middle of the room and wait for someone to take your coat for you. Are you kidding me?
I was shocked when I received this book in the mail last year. [...] I returned it immediately. (Outskirts Press is a self-publisher, as I’ve since found out.)
The content? It ranged from the common sense (take showers, etc) to the nonsensical (star on a soap opera, then become famous, then he’ll regret being mean to you). It is extremely disorganized and written in size 16 font. I have read a lot of women’s magazines and thought it would be something at least equal to that standard of quality. I was wrong – the book is one long list of random suggestions, none of which are written with the clarity of the average women’s publication.
If the authors want to write a successful book, I am sure it is well within their power with decent editing and clearer presentation. At the very least, they know that this is a subject of much interest, and they have an audience ready to buy their hopefully higher quality follow-up book.
I give this book two, not one, stars. Why, given its few merits? I think even considering this book is a sign that one might want to work on her self-confidence, which is often the origin of a lot of problems women have attracting a man. I encourage YOU to write 339 of your own tips, and then to write your own book for the rest of us. In that sense, having arrived at this book isn’t a total loss because now you have learned something about yourself. I just wouldn’t buy it, unless it were considerably revised.
